Launching soon in Cape Town

Everything your venue runs on.

The all-in-one POS, payments, loyalty and insights platform for South African restaurants, cafés & bars.

  • No lock-in contracts
  • POPIA compliant
  • Yoco & PayFast ready
  • Weekly Monday payouts

Front of house, back of house, one house.

A1 The service pages

From counter to kitchen, without the chaos.

One system carries the whole shift. An order rung at the till lands on the kitchen screen the same second, moves across the pass as it's made, and closes out with payment - no paper lost, no shouting over the machine, no re-typing into a second device.

  1. The order is taken

At the till, at the table, or ahead of time from the customer's phone. Modifiers and table numbers travel with it.

  2. It fires to the kitchen

The docket appears on the kitchen display instantly, sorted into the queue with everything the pass needs to know.

  3. Ready at the pass

One tap marks it ready. Front of house sees it change colour. Nobody walks to the kitchen to ask.

  4. Paid and closed

Card, cash or QR - the bill settles, the docket archives itself, and the numbers are already in tonight's totals.

A2 The kitchen pages

Take the heat off the pass.

The kitchen display runs dark because kitchens do. New orders arrive sorted, timers keep everyone honest, and one tap moves a docket from the queue to the pass to done.

B1 The money pages

Get paid before the cup cools.

Card, cash, QR at the table - one drawer. Take payment however your customer prefers, through Yoco or PayFast, and watch every rand land in the same reconciled view. On managed payments, remittance arrives weekly, every Monday.

Gateway fees are the gateway's - Brewster never marks them up, and on the Bring Your Own Gateway lane, Brewster never touches your money at all.

See how the fees work

B2 The business pages

Your numbers, freshly brewed every morning.

Every Monday, a briefing worth reading. The AI Advisor reads your week - sales, waste, quiet hours, bestsellers - and writes you a short, plain-language briefing with the two or three things actually worth acting on. It's included free on every plan.

Catch the slow-moving stock, the dish quietly losing margin, the Saturday that needed one more pair of hands - before any of it costs you a week.

What's brewing inside

Loyalty & CRM

Turn walk-ins into regulars.

Digital stamp cards, no app download required. A customer's tenth flat white stamps itself at the till. SMS campaigns go out to the people who actually visit - segmented by what they order and when they last came in - and every send is POPIA-consented.

Inventory

Count it once. Catch it early.

Recipes link dishes to stock, so each sale draws down the storeroom on its own. Waste gets logged in seconds, stock-take stops being a Sunday sacrifice, and variance has nowhere to hide.

Menus & QR

One menu, everywhere at once.

Change a price or pull a dish once, and the till, the kitchen and every table QR code update together. Print-day panic becomes a two-minute edit.

Order ahead

Regulars order ahead. You see them coming.

The customer side is part of the platform. Customers find your venue, order and pay from their phone, and track their order in real time - takeaway, dine-in or delivery. Your kitchen sees it in the same queue as everything else, timed so it's ready when they walk in, not cooling on the pass.

Multi-venue groups

One view across every till.

Run two shops or twelve from a single portfolio: compare venues side by side, move menus between them, and see the whole group's day on one screen - while each shop keeps its own float, staff and settings.

D1 The bill, settled up front

Everything included. No bitter aftertaste.

Every shop gets every feature module - POS, kitchen display, payments, loyalty, inventory, analytics and the weekly AI Advisor briefing. You choose a lane for how money moves, per location, per month. That's the whole bill.

E1 Letters to the editor

Questions, answered before the rush.

When does Brewster launch, and how does the beta work?

We're launching soon in Cape Town, then rolling out to the rest of South Africa. The beta is first come, first served: signing up costs nothing and commits you to nothing, and we onboard venues in batches as we open each area. Early venues get hands-on setup help from our team.

Where does my data live?

In South Africa. The personal information Brewster holds - your business and customer records - stays on infrastructure inside the country, and Brewster is built to POPIA requirements. The public images you publish, like menu photos and venue imagery, are served through a global content delivery network so they load quickly for your customers; those carry no personal information. You stay in control of your customer records, and consent is collected properly before any marketing message goes out.

What hardware do I need?

Probably what you already own. Brewster runs in the browser on a tablet, laptop or desktop - the till and the kitchen display are just screens signed into your venue. For card payments you use Yoco or PayFast hardware and rails you may already have. No proprietary terminals, no rental trap.

What happens when the internet connection drops?

If the connection blips, cash and QR orders queue at the till and sync the moment you are back online - nothing is lost, nothing charges twice. The till shows you exactly what's queued, so there's never a mystery about what has and hasn't gone through.

What will I actually pay in fees?

Your monthly lane price (R199, R299 or R699 per location), plus 3.5% per paid order capped at R15 on the Managed lane only. Card gateway fees are charged by Yoco or PayFast at their standard rates - Brewster never adds a markup on top. There are no lock-in contracts; you can leave any month.

Can I run more than one venue on Brewster?

Yes. Each location is priced per month on its own lane, and multi-venue groups get the portfolio view: every shop's day on one screen, menus shared between venues where you want them, and each site keeping its own settings, staff and float.

F1 In the next edition

On the roadmap, not yet on the menu.

We'd rather tell you what's coming than pretend it's here. None of this is live yet - beta members hear first when each one ships.

On the roadmap

The table service programme

Full table-side service flows - courses, seat-level ordering and split bills - built with working venues, not around them.

On the roadmap

Brewster Almanac

Predictive AI as the platform's only paid upgrade: demand forecasting, reorder points and staffing forecasts, tuned to your venue's own history - including the December rush.

On the roadmap

Premium remittance

Faster payouts on the managed lane - money in your account within 1-2 business days instead of the weekly Monday cycle.
