A POS that keeps up with your kitchen

From the moment an order is placed to the moment it leaves the pass, Brewster keeps your team in sync.

01

Live orders inbox

Every new order appears instantly in the orders inbox. Accept, track, and update order status in real time - no refresh required.

02

Kitchen display system

Orders go straight to a KDS screen in the kitchen. Your team sees what to make, in what order, without paper tickets.

03

Modifier groups

Build modifier groups for sizes, extras, and substitutions. Customers can customise their order and the kitchen sees every detail.

04

Table QR codes

Generate QR codes per table so guests can scan, browse, and order from their phone. No app download required.

05

Payment processing

Accept card payments via Yoco and PayFast. Weekly Monday payouts with transparent per-transaction fees and no delivery commissions.

06

Offline mode awareness

Brewster flags connectivity issues in real time so your staff always know the system status before it causes a problem.

POS questions

What hardware do I need to run the POS?

Most venues already own it. Brewster runs in a browser on a tablet, laptop or desktop, and the till and kitchen display are just screens signed into your venue. Card hardware is Yoco or PayFast - there is no proprietary terminal to buy or rent.

Is the kitchen display extra?

No, the KDS is part of the platform. Orders reach the kitchen screen as they are taken, in sequence and with modifiers attached, so there is no separate subscription and no printer to keep fed.

How do table QR codes work?

Each table gets its own code. A guest scans, browses and orders on their phone, and it arrives against that table in the inbox and on the kitchen display. Nothing to download, and the codes are signed so they cannot be forged.

What happens when the internet drops mid-service?

Cash and QR orders queue at the till and sync the moment you are back online, and the till shows exactly what is still queued. Nothing is lost, nothing charges twice, and service keeps moving.

Can I change the menu during service?

Yes. Marking an item unavailable takes effect immediately, so you stop selling something the moment you run out rather than discovering it at the pass.

What does the POS cost?

From R199 per month per location on the lane you choose, plus 3.5% per paid order capped at R15 on the Managed lane only. Gateway fees go to Yoco or PayFast at their own rates - Brewster adds no markup - and there is no lock-in contract.
