Team and access questions
How do I add someone to my team?
You invite them by email and choose their role. They set their own password, so nobody is sharing a login, and you can see who has accepted and who is still outstanding.
Can I stop staff seeing the financial side?
Yes. Roles decide what each person reaches, so a barista can work the till without seeing revenue, payouts or customer records. It is set once per person rather than negotiated shift by shift.
What happens when someone leaves?
You remove their access and it is gone immediately across every venue they had. Their past activity stays in the audit trail, so removing a person never rewrites the record of what happened.
Does one person work across several venues?
Yes. Someone can hold a role at more than one site, with different permissions at each - a manager at one venue and floor staff at another - without keeping separate accounts.
What does the audit trail record?
Actions that change something that matters - roles granted, settings changed, sensitive operations - with who did it and when. It is there so a disputed change has an answer rather than a debate.
