Yoco and PayFast - the two most widely used providers in South African hospitality - settling directly in ZAR. You use their rails and their hardware, and their standard gateway fees apply. Brewster never adds a markup on top of what they charge.
Payouts run weekly on Mondays. Every transaction is visible in the transaction history as it happens, so the payout is a settlement of figures you have already been able to see rather than a monthly surprise.
No. There is no delivery commission. You pay your monthly lane price, and on the Managed lane 3.5% per paid order capped at R15. An order worth R2 000 costs the same R15 as one worth R450.
If it is Yoco or PayFast hardware, yes. Brewster is not a hardware business and sells no proprietary terminal, so there is nothing to rent and nothing to replace before you can start.
Cash and QR orders queue at the till and sync once you are back online, and the till shows you exactly what is still queued. Payments are idempotent, so a retry after a blip settles once - nothing is lost and nothing charges twice.
Yes. Card details are handled by Yoco or PayFast and never stored by Brewster. Business and customer records live on infrastructure inside South Africa, and marketing consent is collected before any message goes out.
