Platform questions
Is everything included, or are these separate products?
Included. POS, inventory, CRM, loyalty, analytics and staff management are one platform on one subscription - there is no per-module pricing and nothing to integrate between them.
What does it cost?
A monthly price per location - R199, R299 or R699 depending on the lane you choose - plus 3.5% per paid order capped at R15 on the Managed lane only. Card gateway fees go to Yoco or PayFast at their own rates and Brewster adds no markup.
What hardware do I need to buy?
Most venues already own it. Brewster runs in a browser on a tablet, laptop or desktop, and the till and kitchen display are just screens signed into your venue. Card hardware is Yoco or PayFast - there is no proprietary terminal to rent.
How long does it take to get running?
A single venue can be taking orders the same day: load the menu, invite your team, connect a payment provider. Bigger groups take longer mostly because of menu structure, not because of setup.
Can I run several venues from one account?
Yes. Each location is priced on its own lane and keeps its own settings, staff and float, while the portfolio view puts every venue on one screen and menus can be shared between sites where that helps.
Where is my data stored?
In South Africa. Business and customer records stay on infrastructure inside the country, and Brewster is built to POPIA requirements. Public images you publish, such as menu photos and venue imagery, are served through a global content delivery network and carry no personal information.
